Born in Saigon, I was quickly transplanted to Paris, which conveniently coincided with the moment I could walk! After earning French and English/American law degrees from the Sorbonne in 2000, I worked for many years as a lawyer internationally before following my passion and training in interior design through Lignes et Formations in France.
I was fortunate to spend 16 exciting years living around the world, creating a moveable nest for my family on four continents before finally settling in the South of France in 2017. When asked where home is, I like to say that home is where the people I love are but also, where my most cherished possessions are, a place I design against whatever backdrop I am given, and a space to share with the people I care about.
My road to becoming a full-time interior designer began early. As a child, my father and I loved to visit model houses and apartments on weekends. After each visit, we'd spend hours dreaming, drafting and planning our own home improvements. The rest of our free time was spent renovating our little family home. My dad is a true handyman and he taught me so much – not to take myself too seriously and to get my hands dirty when needed. I remember bringing down my first plasterboard wall with my dad in 1987. We were so proud to be the first house in our neighbourhood to open the kitchen to our living room!
I don't think I've ever stopped working to make everything around me more beautiful every day, and I feel lucky to make my passion my profession. With the launch of InFluences, my vision is to help my clients across the globe, live in beautiful spaces that truly feel like home, a haven to escape to and thrive in, no matter how long they call it home!
